We’ve all heard about the increasing number of kids dying because they’re being left inside hot cars. I blogged about how I told you I just can’t wrap my head around it. It still doesn’t make sense to me. Because we live in 2014, technology is coming to the rescue of those who can’t remember their kid is in the car.
There is a smart car seat which has sensors that can tell when something is wrong…like a sweltering car with a kid inside. It works with an app that sends an alarm to your phone. There are also other things like sensors and GPS that can help a parent or caregiver remember a child they may have forgotten.I guess it’s good that these things exist, it’s just sad that there is actually a need for them these days.
